Honestly, it's a mix of both for me. Some of my friends know they are trans* from the bottom of their heart but dont experience dysphoria. But others of my friends experience extreme dysphoria. That experience all boils down to person to person. I know I experience dysphoria as genderfluid, but one of my best FtM friends doesn't experience it at all.

The way I see it, most people who claim not to have dysphoria may actually just not recognise their dysphoria, and that’s ok.  For instance, I would consider gender euphoria an indication of gender dysphoria, but maybe not everyone does. It’s such a nebulous thing that you can’t really just say “if you don’t have dysphoria you aren’t trans” because you never know what the thought process there is. Additionally, why spend time policing other people’s identities when we already face a lot of that sort of thing?

Tucute. I genuinely believe that people are born the wrong gender and nature screws up and that it's not dysphoria it's a legitimate mix up of nature.
