Are sharp pains normal?

I’ve had what I think is quite a lot of sharp cramps. Some are centralized, mostly on the left side. They don’t feel like cramps, more like sharp lingering pains but they go away and I’ll go awhile without any. No bleeding or spotting whatsoever.

Is this normal? I just had a missed miscarriage in December (which I did spot with) and my first scan isn’t until next week so I am so so nervous about another miscarriage or ectopic.

Anyone else having these?
