Baby Registry question ✨

First, please do not mention anything negative because I am simply only asking for some advice on how to do something. I understand people are going to do other things but I also know many here will partake in what I will be doing.

We’ve decided to do a small baby shower. Our home state is starting to open up and the date is basically 2 months out. (This is what I mean please do not say anything negative. I understand how some people feel. We are not forcing anyone to attend. It’s more of a bbq baby shower)

My questions I need help with is regarding my Baby Registry I have created. I’ve never made a baby registry or any type of registry. So I’m wondering how should I share it with people if I’ll be having a shower also? I don’t want to sound like anyone HAS to look at it and get something if I’m having a shower.

From what I see the things they purchase gets mailed to me so would I just wait until my Shower to open the items?

Sorry if it’s a dumb question. But like I said, never made one. Don’t know anyone who’s ever made one. I simply made it because a coworker mentioned to send her my baby registry so I decided to make one 😂 thank you in advance!
