I had no idea this girl even existed and they only message on Snapchat when I wasn’t around and it went on for I guess two weeks or so talking a few days a week. He admitted to thinking she’s attractive (creepily looks super similar to me) and easy to talk to. Is this cheating?

I guess it depends on what your definition of cheating is. Some people regard it as physical actions only, others include emotional intimacy too. 
For me, it sounds like he’s crossed the line by keeping it from you, but I wouldn’t regard it as actually cheating.

I don’t know if I’d call it cheating, but it’s definitely not okay! If he felt the need to hide it from you then he knows what he’s doing, or thinking of doing, is wrong.
