Was I wrong?

My ex came by to visit his daughter and he told me to take some pictures of them on his phone. So I took the pictures and he used one as his profile pic on social media but had to remove it because his SO told him it was inappropriate(because I took them).She told me to never take pictures of them because she can do it. The pics included only him and my 4 month old. Maybe I shouldn't have taken the pics, I don't know what to do anymore. Was I wrong for taking the pics?
