Absolutely! I’ll have my first this year at 30. I wanted until my husband and I were financially ready, and that our relationship was strong. Wouldn’t change anything!

Yes 100% I turned 30 a little after having my daughter. My husband and I had been married over 2 years so we had time just with ourselves being married. I got to go to college and grad school. I got to be settled in my nursing job while going to get my masters. We owned a home and were very stable. I got to be selfish in my 20’s and live with my best friends. So glad I waited to have a life of my own and then appreciate the life with my daughter

Yes. I was 30 when I had my daughter last year and will have my son next month at 31. I’m glad I waited. I was able to do whatever the hell I wanted in my 20s, including last minute vacations. I was able to get more financially stable.

I honestly wish I started earlier. I'll be 30 soon and just had my first. Now I feel like I need to have all my babies closer together than I would've if I was 25. But I'm glad I waited for the right partner to make a family with instead of settling with some toxic bs.

Yes. I always thought i was going to have kids pretty young. Like maybe 20 yrs old. I was in love with the wrong person and we tried getting pregnant for a few yrs and it never happened, thank God. I ended up having my first child at 26 years old with my now husband. I was at a better place in my life and way more mature but still young.

No. I got pregnant at 19, while I was still in college. It was hard to deal with mentally and financially. I wasn’t ready for it at all and I got terrible postpartum depression and anxiety, which I didn’t realize till a year later. I didn’t enjoy motherhood the way I imagined because of the stress and mental struggles it caused me. & I didn’t provide for her the way I would have liked. Being a single mom, in school and working is very hard and I never thought it would be my life. But nonetheless, my daughter is a gift. I can’t imagine life without her. She’s taught me so much.

Yes and no, LOL. I really wanted to start having kids in my mid twenties but I wasn't in a good place to do that financially, and I worked over 60 per week. Then when I was married and we were in a better situation, we found out I had fertility problems so it took another 4 years. So I started in my mid thirties instead. There are pros and cons. I can work part time and we have enough money. I got another 10 years of experience working other people's kids and that makes a some things easier. But my friends who had kids are in a different stage of parenting. I am usually the oldest one in any parenting group or class, so I feel a little lonely. And the sleep deprivation is harder now than it would have been in my twenties.

I love being a young mom! My husband is already set in his career and I have mine too even though I’m a stay at home mom now which has always been my dream job! I like that I’ll have more energy for my kids. I just couldn’t imagine being in my 30’s and having to chase after a toddler. (Just my personal preference and good for you if you are willing to do that!) but I’m 21 and my husband is 24
