The first time I did my kit it was so hard! I was so excited I just did it right away without preparing which was my first problem, then messed up my first two pricks and was left with one lancet, I stood there and squeezed my finger for like 10 minutes with blood all over my bathroom and inevitably didn’t get enough blood from my last prick to get a result. They sent me out another kit and this time I drank a ton of water, cleaned, showered, cleaned again, washed with hot water, and poked in a spot that wouldn’t immediately go under my fingernail, I didn’t squeeze this time cause apparently that makes it clot! The blood just dripped right out and in less than a minute I got it well over the fill line! So excited to get my results! Moral of the story, prepare.
