I’m feeling nervous.

I have had two previous miscarriages with no known reason and I just found out today that apparently elevated thyroid can cause them. My sister told me that when her level was at 3.5 she had to be medicated right away for both pregnancies and online it says that levels between 2.5 and 5 are at an increased risk for miscarriage. Mine is a 5.

So I called the clinic and he didn’t seem too concerned but added in the t4 individually and it looks like it’s within normal range but I am confused as to why it would be so high and why my sister was medicated at a 3.5 TSH and I’m at 5 and not being put on medication.
