I’ve been working at my job for 3 months, I love it! But the past few weeks I’ve been suffering from morning sickness, and in the last week it’s gotten a lot worse. I just absolutely cannot work right now. I can’t eat at all, without throwing it up. I have absolutely zero appetite and I’m not getting much fluids either. I’ve had to go to the hospital for fluids already. I’m so nauseated and weak that I can barely walk around my house. I’m gonna talk to my work about my options, what I’m hoping is that they can give me short term leave, I’m 8 weeks now and hoping that by 12 weeks I start to feel a little better. I don’t believe my job can offer me any help, as I haven’t been there long enough. But if they can hold my job for me for a month while I get through the worst of this, then I could come back. I do believe that they will be able to work with me.

So I guess my real question is have any of you gone through something like this? What did you do? We’re you able to receive any financial help for like short term disability? Any info helps, thanks so much.
