Leaks

Hi I just switched to the cup. Everything has been going well, but sometimes I have leaks and sometimes there's blood when I wipe. Other times, it seems like there's a really tight fit and absolutely nothing will get through. Do I need a bigger cup maybe? I'm following all of the instructions, making sure the cup is all the way open, doing the rotation, etc. I honestly can't imagine putting the largest size in me, though. I got the recommended size from the grocery store.
