When should my baby shower be ?

So baby is due between Christmas and New Years. Which would make appropriate time for my shower literally right around thanksgiving...which is not ideal... if you were me would you do it at the end of October /first week of November which I will be 30 -32weeks or would you push it til after thanksgiving when I’ll be 34 weeks and run the chance of bad weather  ( I live in Michigan so snow is common in November)

I'm due Jan 20 but I'm thinking of having a baby shower mid to end of November. That way it doesn't get in the way for holiday season

If you happen to go early you’ll want to know you already have everything all set so if there are some big needed items you don’t get at your shower you’ll want to be able to get them. 32 weeks really isn’t that early when most doctors say 37 weeks can be considered full term.

I’m doing Ming at 32 weeks. It gives us enough time to get the rest of the things we need for baby and not feel rushed.

After Thanksgiving, you're cutting it close to Christmas. If people have families like mine, everyone starts Christmas festivities in the weeks leading up to Christmas so it may make it harder for people to attend.

I was due Jan 2. Had my shower in the beginning of November as that was the only time that really worked with our schedules. I ended up having my baby 2 weeks early, so I’m glad we didn’t wait any longer. Gave me time to clean/organize everything, plus things are always hectic for people around the holidays already, so I wanted to avoid all that.

I had mine in early November (did it on the first Saturday) when I was due first week of January
