TTC baby #2?! 300+ lbs

Hi all!
I delivered in February baby #1. I started out around 270. Ended up around 295 at delivery. Have gained more and am now around 305. My husband and I have always talked about wanting our kiddos close together. Unfortunately like I said I’m around 305 and scared about getting pregnant soon. Anyone have any input on the topic or similar situations?! Thank you!

I was 344lbs when I got pregnant. I wasnt trying to, it just happened. Nothing is different than anyone else would be but I am considered high risk. I had 3 glucose tests, and many ultrasounds but everything is going well. If you were to get pregnant I'm sure you would be fine just listen to your doctors. Also, plus side, I lost 80lbs.

I’m hoping to TTC around August-sept. My son will be 18 months by then. At the end of my pregnancy I was 285lbs now I’m 330. I’m terrified to get pregnant at this weight. This week I’ve cut back my portions and go for a walk 30min a day. I’m hoping that helps a bit. Hoping to get under 300 by sept. Good luck

I'd say trying this soon would make your babies VERY close in age, which can be a challenge in itself because chasing a toddler is exhausting not to mention the mobility challenges with being overweight and being pregnant or having a newborn on top of that.
If you're nervous about your weight, maybe try adding in daily exercise and give yourself a month or two to see if you can drop a few pounds and feel better about the situation.

Idk how tall you are as 300 lbs at 5 ft is a lot different than 300 lbs at 6ft. But I’m 5’7 and was 240 when i got pregnant both times. Only gained 12 lbs my first pregnancy and lost it all before I left the hospital. I got pregnant 7 months after she was born. I will say that I am absolutely exhausted right now. I’m 31 weeks and chasing after a 14 month old (in the summer heat nonetheless) is tough! I consider myself active and in shape despite my weight but this is tough. I wish I would have tried to lose more weight before having this 2nd kid. We plan to try for one more and my goal is to get below 200 before we start trying
