39 weeks

Hey ladies! I was 37 weeks at 1 1/2 dilation and 0% and two weeks later at 39 weeks, 80% effaced & at a 3 dilation. The doctor was amazed at the progress. My due date is June 5th. The doctor thinks she will arrive by the weekend. My baby’s head is so low it hurts to walk it’s been like this for weeks. She said the delivery should go fast, which my first born came fast too. We went today to be tested for the virus and don’t let everyone scare you- the flu swab hurt worse than this did! Just curious if anyone else, delivered a week early with their second baby or if they stayed at a 3 until there due date? I’m so ready to meet our baby girl!!! The hardest part is being away from our one year old while we give birth because he’s never stayed away from us. He was 9.3 lbs an we had to stay 3 days for diabetes testing. The doctor told us if this baby weighs 9 or more pounds we will have to stay 3 days as well. I really hate to be away from our one year old that long 😭 an plus with the virus we just want to be home and safe from the germs. Wishing all of you ladies a healthy and easy delivery!!!
