Allergy medicine cured my IC?

So... my allergies this season have been killer. I never take medicine for them (because they always seem to make me feel either jittery or totally dead), but I finally gave in. I chose Claritin 24-hour non-drowsy.

I also have what I believe to be IC. For the last year or so I’ve had UTI symptoms (urethral burning/discomfort, burning sensation after urinating) but the doctors never could find any infections.

I’ve noticed strangely, after being on this Claritin for 2/3 days, that I’ve had no IC symptoms. This could just be coincidence, but I’ve heard rumor that antihistamines can help soothe inflammation, which is essentially what IC is. Anyone else find this to be probable? I’m feeling it’s too good to be true 😭
