When someone speaks out about oppression, don't silence their voice. So if the majority of people of color are saying someone is racist, we need to stop and listen.

I would like to think if a lot of people are calling one person racist there is a reason for it. I could see one person, maybe two, making the accusation, out of pettiness but when you get a lot of people saying it about one person, there's probably a reason. 
Kind of like if one or two people don't like you, no big deal. If 3 or more people have serious issues with you, it's probably time to reflect on yourself because you're probably the problem.

I dont know. I would need to know what the person has done before I could say how I feel but if someone feels that way it should be listened to and talked about. My favorite saying is "if one person tells you that you have a tail then just ignore them, if 10 people tell you that you have a tail then maybe you should look and see if its true".  I know I've been called a racist because I didnt get along with a coworker who was black (I was the only non black employee) i disliked him not because of his skin but because he was a sack of shit that didnt do his job and cheated on his dying wife with a student at our rehab center . None of us liked him and thankfully everyone had my back when he said it.  I think sometimes that word gets thrown out and while it's not always true it should be looked at. When he said I was being racist I did ask him what made him feel that way and I honestly would be open to any real feedback since it's always good to do, I dont want to just shut down someone because I dont see racism in myself, I am totally open to feedback but he just said "I dont have to explain shit to you" so oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wont worry about it. But if many people said I was racist I would for sure look at it and see what I'm doing to make people feel that way.

I guess I’d like to know why before I made my mind up, but honestly... if a majority of POC claim that somebody is racist or is exhibiting racist behavior, I’d say it’s a pretty good guess that they’re correct.

Automatically?  No.  I’m sure if anyone’s calling someone a racist, whether it’s 1 person or 10 they can provide some reason as to why they think that.  I’d certainly be paying attention to that reason.

If a lot of people say something ( regardless of race), that doesn’t automatically make it truth. That’s why we have a court system. It definitely might be true, but it could also be false or a misunderstanding. I’m not saying to “ silence voices”, I’m saying that the majority is not always right, and that no one persons  words should be automatically deemed as fact. We can’t make accusations like that ( especially today when I think terms like that are thrown around more than we think) without examining lots of evidence because such a serious claim has serious repercussions.

If a majority of white people say a POC is racist, does that make the POC racist? Either way, the answer is no. People accuse people of tings all the time, it doesn’t make them true. Also, white people are not the only people capable of being racist. Racism is discrimination against a certain race, multiple races, or believing one race is superior to others, not necessarily white supremacy. I know plenty of POC who are proud of their race. Any white person who’s proud to be white is “racist.”
