Giving my boob a break

My son (11 days old) hasn’t latched as well on my right nipple as he does my left, and my right nipple is very dry and sore. If I give my right boob a break for a day, will it hurt my supply on that boob?

Latching him doesn’t hurt on my left nipple, but hurts to latch on the right. After he’s sucking for about 30 seconds, it doesn’t hurt as bad, but still hurts every time he latches the next time.

Do I just bite the bullet and keep feeding on him on my right side as I have been? Or can I give my right nipple a break?
