Teething + medication
My 13- month is currently teething. Seems to be two molars bottom and also one on top. He already has 8 teeth and none of them were like the hell were currently experiencing.
His gums look suuuuper puffy, sore and raw. Poor guy.
I feel like we’ve been giving him Tylenol almost every night for the last two weeks except a few days here and there bc it’s been THAT bad. I try not to give it to him before bed so that I know if he wakes up he really needs it. He falls asleep without it but come 4am it’s non-stop screaming.
My question is.
1) I feel so guilty giving him Tylenol this much! Anyone else ever been in same position with the non-stop medicine? What do you do ? He hates teething rings and also it just seems like all he wants/needs at that hour is medication.
2) I’ve heard Motrin might be a bit better with teeth because, ibprofeun. The thing is in middle of night I don’t want to upset his stomach. Is milk enough or should I give him something to eat with the Motrin?
