Love spell - is it risky?

I did a love spell on a guy with a girlfriend about a month or two ish ago and my intentions were more like if it is a natural feeling and meant to happen they will eventually break up and he will be interested in me. Sure enough I found out recently that about three weeks ago he broke up with his girlfriend and has a crush on me. He is still broken from his previous relationship and doesnt want to act on it now which I totally respect, but if I did another love spell with the intentions of ensuring him wanting something with me eventually, would that be risky and possibly end up hurting me? Am I fucking with the universe too much? I know the whole threefold law in Wicca and I just don’t know what is good and bad! Pls help :)
