Is it disrespectful to be posting pictures going about your “normal life” in the midst of a public outcry against racial injustice?

This popped up on my Instagram feed, but before seeing it, the idea of posting something completely unrelated to the protests and injustice rubbed me the wrong way.

Then I saw this, and I was like “that’s exactly the feeling I had that I couldn’t quite put into words.”

So, do you agree or disagree with this?

On a side note, hope everyone is staying safe out there!!! I will be joining protests over these next few days and if you are too, PLEASE be careful!! #BLM
