Falling asleep on their own?

Question

Anyone's baby able to fall asleep on their own in their crib? If so, did you use any certain method to make that happen? I still rock my little one to sleep but want to get away from that.

Yep he’s been putting himself to sleep for months. We used Taking Cara Babies method from day one and we would not have this great sleeper without her!! She has the ABCs of sleep for ages 5-24 months i HIGHLY recommend purchasing it!!

My LO will fall asleep on her own if she doesn't fall nursing. I will puy her un her crib and leave her. She will babble for a bit but will eventually fall asleep.

My daughter is 7 months and last week she fell asleep on her own twice with just a binky. We didn’t do any sleep methods just laid her down to see what she would do because we could tell she was tired. Usually I rock her to sleep but lately she has started throwing herself from one shoulder to the next trying to get comfortable so into the crib she went. I’m hoping that this will be a new normal for her.

My daughter falls asleep on her own and has since 4.5 months. We did a ferber-like method from a sleep consultant.

We have since about three months minus some hiccups at four month regression. We feed and rock but put him down awake but tired. He’ll scoot or roll around crib to find his comfy spot for up to ten minutes and sometimes babbling to himself but then he goes to sleep.

My son can. He turned 6 months last week, but we started at 4 months. We did the pick up, put down method. Basically we do our bedtime routine, book, bath, last bottle, then we lay him in his crib.
At first he would fuss, but we didn’t pick him up. We only picked him up if he cried, and as soon as he calmed down we would put him back down. I will say he’s not a big crier so it wasn’t too hard. Even now he sometimes fusses, but we don’t pick him up when he’s like that. We just let him be and he’ll fall asleep.

Yes my little one falls asleep on his own since we did ferber method. Now it takes him from 1min-6min to fall asleep and rarely even cries.
