Do the vaginal exams hurt you?

I had my exams starting at 35 weeks I’m 38 weeks now and I’ve had 3 different doctors do them and every single time it hurts so bad. They all look at me like I’m dumb.... does it hurt you too or am I just sensitive lol

I didn’t really feel it tbh. I think lately though I’ve been discharging so much it’s super lubricated.

It hurt me (more really uncomfortable than bad pain) every single time. My drs always apologize though as they're doing it.

Prob hurts cuz you’re not dilated at all. That’s why I refuse them until I’m in labor or at least 39+ weeks. They’re unnecessary, don’t tell you anything, and yeah they’re uncomfortable haha

I’ve been pregnant 3 times now. I’ve had them range from zero pain to pretty painful. It depends on who is doing them. Also how high your cervix is and the way your uterus tilts.

I’ve been getting cervical exams weekly since 25 weeks (due to being high risk) I’m not 35 weeks. 
They have never been painful........

You can deny them. I haven't been checked any in the third trimester yet and I'll be 35 weeks Sunday. I'd rather keep down the risk of infections and things like that.

My vaginal exams didn’t hurt me until I was 37+3, and the doctor had particularly small hands. He had a hard time finding my cervix, so he pushed in harder to get a better reach, and also pushed down on my enormous belly. That bitch HURT! And 2 hours later I went into labor. 🤷🏻‍♀️
