Refusing sippy

My baby loooves sippy cups but only if there’s water in it. I tried adding breastmilk in the cup as I’m trying to wean her off breastfeeding or from the bottle while I’m at work (rarely).

She immediately spits out the milk and won’t even give the sippy cup the light of day. So now I’m worried for when I start her on cows milk and no breastfeeding how is she going to drink it? It was like she was so traumatized from the sippy having milk that she refused water in it until I showed her I was physically putting water in for her to trust it again.

I’m not too worried YET since she still breastfeeds directly right now so she’s getting it that way but that just made me more worried about weaning.
