First time mum. Could it be movements....

Hoping someone can help. This is my first baby and I'm 17 weeks. The past 2 days I've had a strange feeling just below my belly button to the left hand side. Every now and then, mainly an evening I've felt was can only be described as someone rolling a roll on deodorant in a small line across my stomach, it only lasts a few seconds then stops. It's a little bit of a uncomfortable feeling but definitely not painful or anything, just a strange feeling. My mum and sister said it sounds like babies movement but I'm not sure. :/
