Babies on my brain; not on husband's
My husband and I have been married for almost six months, and we both want kids. However, he suddenly wants to wait for 3+ years, and I'd like to start trying a few months after our first anniversary. I have an IUD, and I'd never try to get pregnant without both of us agreeing on it.
Currently, I'm pretty baby-crazy, and it totally freaks him out. I try to keep my thoughts to myself mostly, but I just get so excited thinking about having a child with him and great of a dad he'll be.
Here's my question for those who've been in my position: were you able to gently and lovingly persuade your partner to consider having children sooner rather than later? If so, how?
