How do they schedule you? Do they give you a time frame to pick from or do they just go by your due date?

They usually let you schedule your c section for 39 weeks. I just scheduled mine. I told them the date that I wanted and was lucky enough to get it 😃it’s getting real now lol.

Just got mine scheduled! 39 weeks on the dot for August 3rd. Check in at 6 am. Unless baby tries to come early.... I went into labor naturally, water breaking and all right at 39 with baby #1.

I scheduled mine at 28weeks for 39,6 with the doc I wanted. If you don't mind the doc you have more choice on date and time

They usually do 39 weeks bc that is when insurance pays for elective c sections. Insurance will only pay if c section is medically necessary before 39 weeks

Just like you would schedule an appointment. They tell you the time frame and you tell them which date you want and the doctor books the operation room for you for that day

My first was a scheduled c section. I could pick any day I wanted as long as it was 39 week or after. Of course the doctor you pick has to be available or you opt for the on call doctor. That’s how it went for me anyway.

We scheduled mine at my last appointment (28 weeks).  They are taking her at 39 weeks. ❤️

I have mine scheduled for the latest they will let me go. He told me they usually schedule within a week of your due date 3 weeks out. 
We just picked a date and he told me what time I would be checking in.
