Has anyone fried their hair with bleach?

First time bleaching (L’Oréal highlight cap) & the directions said to leave it on for 45-50, so I did. My hair is legit mush & is stretching lol.. I don’t even care anymore at this point I’m just happy it wasn’t my entire head. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Unfortunately box bleaches often used the strongest volume of peroxide and tell you to leave it on for far too long. 
I have never had it happen to me personally but I've worked with clients who've had it happen to them. 
I'm really sorry it happened to you. It will take quite a long time to recover. Olaplex bond strengthener can help make it feel less like straw when it's dry. Try to avoid all heat styling if you can.

Yes, I have done this. I ended up getting keratin treatment & leave in conditioner. It helped a lot!!!

Then I waited a week... Dyed it back to my natural color. Just to deposit color & a healthy look back into my hair.

Its oh so easy to do. This is why they suggest you to do a test strand on the instructions with box dyes and bleaches coz they often take quicker than expected depending on the original state of your hair.
