Give them as long as they need. Ask them a timeframe they’d like to have them done by. It takes a lot of time to edit that many photos. And I’m sure your wedding wasn’t the only thing they had to photograph or will have to photograph in 6+ weeks. So be patient.

My wedding photographer edited about 20 and had them to me the very next afternoon. The rest came less than two weeks later
