Is my boss rude or am I too sensitive?

I often leave conversations with my middle aged (male) boss feeling stupid and self-conscious, and I’m wondering he’s actually rude and condescending or if I’m just over-reacting. I’m a 26 y/o female engineer and I’m used to a little condescension, but this is getting to the point where I’m considering leaving my job. I’m just worried that I’ll always have issues with my bosses because of a personal issue I’m creating for myself. I left my previous job because of a super rude and demeaning, verbally abusive boss, which is why I think I might be hyper-sensitive about this. Just looking for some advice or opinions, or if anyone’s been in this situation and successfully moved past it.
