Feeling like my period is here

I’m almost 36 weeks and i just feel like my period is “right there” sorta like before i get my period and every time i go to the bathroom and wipe i expect to see blood. That’s how I’ve felt the last few days. Just overall heaviness and like I’m waiting on it. I don’t remember this happening with my first. I’ve had a few period like cramps but mostly just that heavy, lingering feeling. Is this normal, does it mean anything? Or just another joy of the end guessing games? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
