Thank you cards

So it’s almost been a year since my baby shower and I still haven’t finished writing my thank you cards. Our shower ended up being a lot bigger than we anticipated because my mother in law invited like 60 people many of whom I had never met before. That being said I had 50+ thank you cards to write. I bought the cards and got through writing one for everybody I knew but hadn’t had the chance to send them out yet. The people I didn’t know I still planned on doing up a card for them too but just lost time to finish. I have a very busy life and also i struggle with finishing tasks. I stress very easily when having too much on my plate. But honestly the time just slipped away and I never meant to not finish or send them out. My goal for this weekend is to get them done and somehow sent off to everyone. Am I rude for not getting them sent earlier? In all fairness our shower was 2 weeks after our baby was born so I was very busy. But still that’s no excuse for not getting them done. I feel horrible.
