Do you think school summer holidays are too long?

I don’t know how long they are where you’re from, but here in the uk it’s around 8 weeks long.

That’s not true, in the UK our summer holidays are 6 weeks long and I don’t think it’s too long at all. Kids need time to be kids, they’ll most likely not have the opportunity to get that amount of time off when they start working, without worrying about money.

I always felt it just wasn’t long enough. This year is way different, but my brother would go to summer school to prevent a slide with him. This was the only way I would get any sort of 1 on 1 time with my parents it felt. With my father it would be when my brother would be at school and when he came home from his lunch break he’d just take me to lunch with him. My mother has weekdays off so she would go shopping or something with just me. I mean they can spend time with me when the other is at home, but after a long day at work it just doesn’t happen that often.
