No communication

I had an argument with my bf on Saturday night, I tried calling and texting all day Sunday and no answer. I told him I wanted to fix things. But, I stopped trying to reach out since it seemed like he wasn't trying to fix things. It's Wednesday and I still haven't heard back from him. What does that mean? Is that a breakup? Or is he still mad and I should wait for him to come around? I'm kinda confused as to how guys work when it comes to arguments.
