HSV-1

Yesterday my 1 yr old was putting his paci in my mouth and back in his just playing around and this morning I woke up with a cold sore. I have never had a cold sore before in my life so I didn’t think I had this virus but now I’m scared to death that I may have passed the virus onto him.. what should I do?! I read so many horror stories about children getting deathly sick and even dying from this virus, I won’t be able to live with myself😭😭😭😭
