Tonsillitis?

Went to urgent care to get a strep test done. It was negative.

I thought it as either strep or oral thrush but she doesn’t know. She put me on antibiotics and the diagnosis “acute tonsillitis, unspecified.”

She said something about maybe needing my tonsils out. I have blisters and white spots all over the inside of my mouth.

My whole mouth hurts, even the outside of my lips are inflamed and red. I could barely say “ahhh” for her because it hurt so bad.

Has anyone ever experienced this?
