White fragility is very real. It’s very evident with replies like “what is that?!” “If anything black people are fragile”. 🤦🏽‍♀️ 
Look at your biases. Learn about history. Ask people to tell you their stories. Be open to a condition, an existence other than yours. Read. Research.

The only thing I have to say about this (mostly because it was just ridiculous to me so I didn't bother to finish it) is: this is enough. On all sides. If you feel targeted by something posted, then evaluate your actions and make a change. If you are purposely targeting a specific race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. then you're only contributing to the growing issues regarding all these things. Everyone is so consumed with racism. I honestly cannot understand it. I realize that some horrid things have happened, and continue to happen. But good grief, we are all human. We bleed the same. Skin color shouldn't be a divider. It should be something we shouldn't even acknowledge. We're here to love. And this is nothing but hate. It's so heartbreaking and scary 💔

I think this is instructive with regard to how language can be used to minimize and delegitamize black people, their experiences, their thoughts, and their ability to correct and educate when needed. Truthfully, I have used some of these in the past and am trying to be more mindful and intentional in how I speak, advocate, etc. The reality is, it's not my job to defend my fellow white people, but to encourage them to listen, learn, and be willing to challenge themselves to pay attention to their own language as I do so myself. I can't ask for something from them that I am not willing to do myself. What we (white people), have to do is stop being defensive and stop trying to justify ourselves, which, while extremely humbling, is very necessary.
