Babies in bikinis

Ok I wanna start this off by saying I had no idea this was something “controversial” I mean, it’s a baby in a bikini, it’s cute, what’s the big deal?

My friend and I were texting yesterday and she sent me a pic of a baby in a bikini. She was like I can’t believe people let their babies wear bikinis. Meanwhile, my 6 month olds bathing suit is a bikini. I thought she was just being weird, its not the first time she said something weird and judgey, so whatever.

Then I was telling another friend (who is friends with both of us) how weird our friend is. And she was totally agreeing with me, but she was like no, that’s a thing. Lots of people think it’s weird when babies wear bikinis. I was like wtf.

So is this a thing??? Do people really think it’s weird???? I just don’t get it.... it’s a baby
