FTM and terrified
need some encouragement please...
I'm a first time mom. I'm 40+2, set for an induction on Sunday (June 21st) - my boyfriend was laid off due to covid, hes been home since March. His work just called him back & he starts on the 29th of this month... meaning he will be home for 7 full days after babies arrival.
They switched his 14 & 7 shift to a 10 & 4.... I'm fucking terrified. We live in a small town, we have 2 big dogs, my family lives 2 hours away from me, I do not have q great connection with my mom & I'm literally terrified that I'm not going to be a good mom & that I'll have no idea how to manage a new born, with our 2 dogs who need to be walked everyday.. alone. This was not the plan.
Someone please tell me you've had a similar situation and some positive advice. I already suffer from depression & I know PPD is going to hit me. Advice for a first time mom?? I'll also be breast feeding so tips on that to make my life easier is greatly appreciated 💕
