Should YouTube demonetize videos that contain non-consenting minors?

Sa

People who post videos on YouTube can, at some point, begin to make money from each video posted. YouTube has the ability to demonetize certain videos if they contain controversial topics, swearing, nudity, or really anything YouTube decides shouldn’t be monetized. However, YouTube allows videos with minors in them to still be monetized. Some YouTubers make a hell of a lot of money by filming and posting their everyday life with their children- the first one that comes to mind is YouTube star Myka Stauffer who famously just “rehomed” their adopted autistic child after (potentially) using him to gain subscribers and thereby making more money on YouTube.

Should making an income by posting videos of children on youtube be considered child exploitation? Should YouTube demonetize videos containing non-consenting minors?
