How do you tell your boyfriend you're gay...

My boyfriend and I have been together for four months. Over the summer I had a little fling with a girl it didn't really mean anything. But somethings wrong. I just don't feel anything with my boyfriend and I hate to end things by telling him I think I'm gay. I feel so bad but I can't stay In a relationship for his sake when I'm not happy.
