False positive and cycle issues ?

Emmy

Just a little background, I’m 38 and TTC. I had my son at 35, and I got pregnant again last summer at 37. Unfortunately I lost the baby at almost 10 weeks. My husband I and waited until the beginning of this year to try again, so we’ve been actively trying for about 4-5 months. Since I had the d&c around Labor Day last year, my period had been very regular (28 days exactly) up until a couple of months ago. I was a week late in April, so I took a few different pregnancy tests, all negative. Last month my cycle was 27 days, and this month it was 31 days. Since I was ‘late’ again this month, I took 3 tests, and 2 of them were faint positive. I ended up starting my period yesterday, much to my disappointment. I know my cycles are still considered regular, since they are in the 21-35 day window, but I’m wondering if the pandemic has anything to do with the variation in my cycle. I’m also wondering if I’m suffering from a chemical pregnancy, since I did see 2 faint positives. The test I used was First Response, and that’s normally the tests I’ve used, but I’ve recently read terrible reviews online…apparently a lot of people are getting false positives!

Has anyone else had cycle issues during quarantine? And should I use another pregnancy test after my period❓❓❓
