Sleeping with boyfriend

Whenever we sleep together, literally sleep zzz's and all, I have to be touching him. It doesn't matter where, but as long as I'm touching him I'm good but if I wake up or something and we aren't touching I feel like we're mad at each other. Does anybody else have to be touching their SO while they sleep? Is this normal?...he says it isn't.
