Edit: I just got out of the ER and the doctor said “I’m so sorry, but you were pregnant. The baby didn’t survive” I am absolutely crushed.

You’d have to be pregnant to have a miscarriage. Did you test positive for pregnancy ?

I had something very similar (was NOT pregnant), and it turned out to be that I was using too large a tampon, and blood and mucous became stuck to the sides of the cervix and came out looking almost exactly like that. 
Have you taken a pregnancy test? You should go to a doctor ASAP with this photo for your peace of mind.
