Kyleena IUD
I had my IUD procedure around the 20th of May. It's been a month and I have my follow up this week with my GYN. Firstly, I've had many internal ultrasounds done, so the procedure wasn't uncomfortable in the idea. Secondly, I'd been on the pill for 5 1/2 years for ovarian cysts. Thirdly, I'm still only a month in.
The first 36 hours were very not fun. I was cramping really bad, and I was spotting for a week. In that time, being on my feet made me cramp more.
As of today, while expecting my period, I've had painful cramping but it hasn't shown up yet. I'm kind of hoping I just don't get mine anymore already.
I know there's not a ton of info I can give, but here's my pain rating scale.
First 36 hours 9/10 pain
Cramping before period 7/10 pain
During procedure it felt like 3 sharp cramps.
