Christian + Masturbation?

Question

Hi! I’m a Christian, and I’m 21. I masturbate, mostly from reading Lesbian porn online, and I always feel regret afterwards. I know masturbation is normal, and the regret is from reading porn, but sometimes I feel like I shouldn’t be masturbating at all? Like every time I do it it’s me giving into temptation.
Is there anyone else out there that feels this way?

It’s normal to masterbate. But if you’re really serious about your faith then maybe at least try limiting it? Talk to a counsellor about this bc this is something between you and God. 
I am not christian but I have many friends that are. Most of them are not too serious about their faith so they do whatever they want. But others I know get those temptations and while sometimes they fall into them and do things like this, they try not to. They ask for forgiveness and just work I’m strengthening their relationship with God. 
You do what’s best for you. If you can live with feeling guilty then sure I guess go on. But it’s obvious what the bible says about this stuff, if you don’t know then look it up. But after that’s its up to you. A counsellor or bible group could help. I have lots of Christian friends who when they were younger were talked to about porn and masterbation and where it fell and what it meant with their faith. I don’t know the specifics but what I mean is that those safe places exist and if you wanna get that serious about it then look for those places

in response to a previous comment, i think it’s a bit flawed to see pleasure as just something that you give to your partner; it’s also a great thing to experience! masturbation is a great way to figure out your own body so that when you enter a relationship, you’ll know what you like. god invented our bodies, so there isn’t anything inherently wrong with experiencing your own! 
if you decide that you’d rather not masturbate that’s 100% your own decision, but there isn’t anything wrong with it. and if porn is the main thing causing you guilt, just try getting off without it!

Girl listen, your body was given to you by God. You have hormones and urges that we’re out there by God. They’ve been in your body since you were born. Your body is YOURS. Do what you want with it. You owe pleasure to no one but yourself. Masturbation is natural and given what we can access on the internet, I’d consider arousing content to be natural too! It’s okay to cater to the urges of your body. You’re natural babe! As long as it doesn’t turn into an addiction or something, you’re just fine :)

i’m 16 and was christian as a child but my parents lost their faith as they got older so i’m not really religious anymore. i used to feel guilty too but it’s normal and don’t worry about it too much you’re not sinning! god wouldn’t have made masturbation pleasurable if he didn’t want us doing it
