Today I am giving thanks for this beautiful human that I am so blessed to call my life partner. My soul mate. It's not our anniversary. Nor has anything monumental happened in the last few hours. But I am giving thanks for the little things. The everyday things.⁠ 💗⁠ The humble, thoughtful actions of care and consideration that I am the recipient of everyday. The ways I am constantly reminded that I am seen, heard, held, met, supported - sometimes without a word being said between us. Sometimes just with a look. Or a gentle touch. An open smile. These are the just as much a part of the tapestry of our love as the cosmic, magical milestone moments and adventures that we share.⁠ 💗⁠ Don't give up on what your heart dreams and longs for. I'm grateful to myself that I called this love in with my head held high. That I kept my bar raised and waited patiently. That I refused to settle. That I held my ground, keeping my own heart company. Filling my own cup with love. Waiting, knowing, hoping, trusting - that this kind of love, this deep and eternal kind of love, was possible.⁠ 💗
