Last week they measured “low side of normal fluid” at 8, then I returned a few days later to measure again and measured 7.6. Babe has been breech this whole time also, with the plan to hopefully try and have OB flip him around 38w.

Yesterday I went for checkup and measured 8.2 fluid. Doc tells me he thought about it over the weekend and had decided it best to admit for overnight fluids in hopes we could get to double digit fluid level and still attempt flipping him, but in that event also being prepared for same day delivery natural or c-section. I’m shocked and full of questions because I had expected that news next week and this seemed so sudden.

We checked in to hospital last night around 5. Fluids all night and they did ultrasound this morning, only to find that pumping me full of fluid has made my level DROP to 3.4?!?? So baby is not in distress, but my placenta is giving out and not retaining fluid. Scheduled c-section now for this afternoon.
