Help! Period for a month!

Had my regular period then a week and a half later I started bleeding again and hasn't stopped since. It gets really heavy for about a day then it will go back to normal bleeding. I made an appointment but I couldn't get one until July 27th. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was your diagnosed.

UPDATE:

Called the doctor and they said to take a pregnancy test. And just to keep track of when it gets heavy and when it stops. Which is what I use this app for lol. I'm not sure why she wanted me to take a pregnancy test because I've been having my period for that long not, not having it. But I'll be taking one in the morning.
