First Ultrasound Questions

We just had our first ultrasound yesterday. I thought we were at 7 weeks and sonographer told us we were closer to 8. I didnt know quite what to expect (I was extremely nervous) whether there would be anything to see in there and what not. But this little thing is going strong. I'm not an overly emotional person (aquarius over here) and I cried my eyes out hearing that little heart pumping. Has anyone else gotten conflicting dates after having an ultrasound? Also our heart rate was measuring at 153 bpm is that high? Also why did my dad tell me he thought I sent him a picture of a nostril?!?! 😂😂👃👃🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
