Side by side double strollers??

What is your experience with side by side double strollers regarding
- doorways
- elevators
- supermarket aisles / coffee shops
How wide is your double stroller?

I have a city select side by side and love it. Back when we could all go shopping together we had no issue at all taking it around Target.

I have a double maclaren stroller and really like it. I think it’s simple to maneuver and have rarely not fit through something. I use it mostly outdoor though

I hate side by side double strollers!!!! Just because of that reason. I have the Britax B Ready double stroller and it’s so much easier for going through doorways.

I haven’t actually experienced using one yet, but I have a 9 month old and am 14 weeks pregnant with number 2 so have been doing some research! We’ve ordered a bugaboo donkey 3 and I’m super excited! For a side by side they’re a really good size. I think even in expanded mode it’s something like 74cm wide and an average doorway is 82cm! They also fold really compact. They’re quite pricey, I think we’re paying around £1,700 for the stroller, car seat and isofix base. But we’ve got it on a 0% finance deal so it’s more affordable!
