Am I being paranoid? I need reassurance
I’m 25 and a half weeks pregnant and I went for a 3D ultrasound last week because I had a cousin buy it for me as a baby shower gift. It was so cool, we got to see her little face but I have an anterior placenta so she was hiding behind it which was making it hard to see her. Because she was hiding we were in the room for about an hour because the technician was trying to get us a good picture of her face.
I read afterwards that ultrasounds should be limited to only medical ones and not for keepsakes like 3D ultrasounds which have no medical purpose due to unknown effects they can have when done improperly or for extended periods of time. Should I be concerned due to the length of time of my ultrasound?? Has anyone experienced adverse outcomes because of this type of thing? I feel like I’m being paranoid because I’ve been paranoid about a lot lately but I was hoping to get some opinions.
Thank you 😊
